ENROLLMENT

The Study Abroad Program is open to students 18 years of age & over with appropriate academic standing.  In order to reserve a space in the program, students are required to complete & return the enclosed application form along with a $500 Deposit to the Study Abroad office.  Space is limited to a first-come-first-served basis, so hurry up as spaces may fill quickly.

FINANCIAL AID

Financial and Academic Scholarships may be available for the program.  If you are a GCC student, promptly contact Dennis Schroeder the Glendale Community College Financial Aid Office at (818)240-1000 ext. 5433.  Please identify yourself as a potential Study Abroad program participant.

N/ISP

N/ISP is not responsible for the academic portion of the program, except as outlined in the contract between N/ISP and Glendale Community College.  Nor is N/ISP responsible for airline delays, loss of luggage, or any expenses incurred as a result of flight problems, including overbooking and late arrivals at the gate.  Regarding accommodations and land transportation of any kind, N/ISP acts as a passenger agent only.  N/ISP does not assume any liability for accident, injury, damage or loss in any vehicle, or as a result of default by any person or company engaged in transporting the passengers.

Glendale Community College is a founding member of the California Colleges for International Education, a consortium of community colleges dedicated to cooperation in advancing international   education for citizens of California.

LIVING ACCOMMODATIONS

Students will be housed in twin bedded rooms with private facilities in each  room throughout the entire program . All the hotels are centrally located and provide 24 hour receptionist service.
